📌 活動緣起

隨著氣候變遷與極端高溫加劇，校園裡的樹木不只是綠意，更是降溫、固碳、淨化空氣、提供生物棲所的重要角色。

元智大學即將展開校園樹木盤點與碳匯調查，在正式進行專業測量前，我們希望邀請全校師生一起參與，透過輕鬆互動的方式，和校園裡的樹交朋友。

🎯 活動目的

  • 全民參與：不是嚴謹的學術調查，而是大家一起動手、一起感受。
  • 提升認識：讓師生更熟悉校園內的樹木種類與價值。
  • 凝聚情感：透過立名和書寫，建立人與自然的連結。
  • 為專業調查暖身：為接下來的樹木碳匯調查奠定參與基礎。

📅 活動期間

自114年9月22日起至114年12月11日止

🌳 活動內容

在校園幾處樹木集中的地方，我們設置了 空白植物牌與簽字筆。參與者可以：

  1. 找到自己認識或喜歡的樹木 
  2. 在植物牌上寫下樹木名稱
  3. 在牌子上留下「發現者姓名／暱稱」與「日期」 
  4. 將植物牌插在樹木旁邊，完成屬於你的「立名」

🎁 小驚喜（自由參加不強迫）

參加者只要上傳你與樹木及立牌的自拍照片，就有機會獲得限量永續小禮物

📌 Background

With climate change and extreme heat on the rise, trees on campus are more than just greenery. They play crucial roles in cooling, carbon sequestration, air purification, and providing habitats for biodiversity. Yuan Ze University is preparing to launch a comprehensive tree inventory and carbon sequestration assessment. Before the professional survey begins, we invite all students and staff to join in a light-hearted way—get to know our campus trees and make friends with them.

🎯 Objectives

  • Campus-wide participation: Not a rigorous academic survey, but a fun, hands-on activity for everyone.
  • Enhance awareness: Help students and staff recognize the variety and value of trees on campus.
  • Build connections: By naming and labeling, foster stronger bonds between people and nature.
  • Warm-up for professional survey: Lay the foundation for the upcoming carbon sequestration assessment.

SEP 22, 2025 – NOV 15, 2025

🌳 Activity Details

At several tree-concentrated locations on campus, we have placed blank plant labels and markers. Participants can:

  1. Find a tree you know or like 🌳
  2. Write the tree’s name on the plant label ✍️
  3. Add your name/nickname and the date
  4. Place the label by the tree, completing your unique “naming” action

🎁 Surprise Bonus (Optional)

Participants who upload a selfie with the tree and its new label will have a chance to win limited sustainable gifts.
