In 2018, Hong Kong fashion designer Mia Cheung established the "Siri Workshop" in Datong to give old clothes new life and support local women returning to work.
Through clothing upcycling, the studio tackles environmental concerns by repurposing denim jeans into wallets, handbags, and jackets.
It also offers vocational training and employment opportunities for disadvantaged groups and women looking to re-enter the workforce.
