Lecture Introduction:

This talk will explore various aspects such as data interpretation, project structure analysis, and creative methodologies. In recent years, the speaker has participated in various types of residencies and art projects, including artist residencies, art festivals, and field sample collection. These include creative case studies through research, fieldwork, and engagement with local landscapes and cultures, such as the "Matsu International Art Island" and the "Romantic Route 3 Art Festival."

Since 2015, the speaker has focused on sound collection, continuously exploring the connections between sounds and cultures across different regions in the "Sound Atlas Publication Project." This initiative documents and contextualizes the speaker's creative process, exemplified in the 2023 solo exhibition "Snake," which extends from recent sound collection experiences and incorporates elements ranging from earth materials, sculpture, and sound installations to studies on Eastern and Western cultures.

Finally, the talk will discuss the "FASSILS" project, showcasing the interdisciplinary connections between art residencies, sound, materials, and earth sciences.
